Meet the Band

  • Rigo

What’s up! I’m Rigo, the rhythm guitarist for Órale 805! Born in Oxnard, CA, and raised between Yuma, AZ, and San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora, I grew up on Rock en Español before diving into bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, and Pink Floyd. I play a Squier Stratocaster or Silvertone, favoring a clean, funky tone or adding slight distortion and reverb. My love for music started with my dad, who taught me to learn by “figuring it out,” and led me to play in symphonic and marching band. Now, playing alongside him makes every late night learning guitar solos worth it. I’m always growing as a musician—come check us out!

  • Mauro

Hey everyone, I’m Mauro! Music is my passion, and I love mastering multiple instruments as a way to explore creativity. I believe self-expression isn’t limited to just one outlet—playing different instruments allows me to bring out my creativity in new ways and share it with the world. I've found my place among the talented musicians of Órale 805, and I can’t wait to share our diverse music with you all!

  • Carlos

Hey, I’m Carlos, the bass player for Órale 805. Music has always been my passion, and while I play multiple instruments, bass is one of my favorites—it’s the groove, the heartbeat of every song.

Playing with Órale 805 lets me bring that passion to the stage, locking in with the band and feeling the crowd’s energy. Whether it’s cumbia, rock, or something in between, I aim to make every note count.

Even though music isn’t my full-time job, it’s a huge part of who I am. I’m grateful to keep live music alive—catch us at a show and let’s make some memories!

  • Angel

Hi, I’m Angel, the drummer of the band. Music has been a part of my life since childhood—I started on guitar, wrote songs, and later became a drummer in high school out of necessity, quickly falling in love with the instrument. Around the same time, I discovered photography, which is now my full-time career. Touring with my uncle’s band gave me a true glimpse into a musician’s life, and joining a Latin band expanded my understanding of world music. Now, with Orale 805, I get to share this journey with my cousins, friends, and my son—an experience I’m truly grateful for.
